The IR-CAM Holder turns any drone into a mixed thermal FPV solution. No soldering skills needed.
The only requirements:
A drone with the ability to carry a payload of 140g or even just 90g with a USB power output.
The Holder supports all features of the InEL IR-CAM:
– picture in picture approach
– variable settings
– customizable thermal profiles
Any drone can be converted to a First Person View drone. With a wide view and low latency.
There are two versions available. In the USB version the USB C port can be used as power supply. In both versions it can be used for firmware updates. In the battery version batteries 2S-6S can be used. The input voltage is measured and displayed.
Intended usage:
All settings are easily accessible via the onboard keyboard. With the build-in IMU a flexible 1-axis gimbal keeps the viewing angle.
Compatible with any analog video transmitter and receiver. Which leads to favorable access prices, real-time capability, a long range and low latency.
It’s even extendable with ExpressLRS. This allows you to control the parameters wireless with a radio controller.
It’s cold or rainy outside and you are not able to use your drone? Don’t worry, in combination with the IR-CAM Holder you get a stand-alone wireless thermal camera. Feel free to investigate your damaged electronics or optimize the temperature of your coffee machine.

Important notes:

The soldering jumpers show which version (USB or Battery) is active. It can be changed subsequently, but only one jumper may be selected at the same time.

The following must be taken into account when selecting a VTX: The VTX supply voltage is 5V in the USB version and 2S-6S in the battery version.
- USB peak current of 1.5A at 25mW VTX. For 350mW 2A are required.
