The IR-CAM Bundle combines the best of three worlds: FPV, thermal inspection and camera drones.
It consists of:
– IR-CAM (NTSC/PAL)
– IR-CAM Holder
Intended usage:
The Features of the IR-CAM (NTSC/PAL) are:
– Thermal sensor protected with a double sided coated germanium lens
– Visual FPV camera with menu passthrough for setup
– Anodized aluminium enclosure for crash resistance
– FPGA which merges the two different video streams in real time
– Analog to digital and digital to analog video converters
– Microcontroller as interface to the flight controller
– Servo motor with flexible arm
– Servo output and controlling
– Up to 30 customizable thermal profiles, over 15 already predefined
The Features of the IR-CAM Holder are:
– Replaces the functionality of a flight controller in combination with the IR-CAM
– Inertial Measurement Unit for the 1-axis gimbal
– Supply voltage measurement
– Lightweight and robust design

– USB to Serial Passthrough for Firmware Updates
– Mounting holes for various VTX (20mm, 30.5mm)

Important notes:
- The soldering jumpers show which version (USB or Battery) is active. It can be changed subsequently, but only one jumper may be selected at the same time.
- The following must be taken into account when selecting a VTX: The VTX supply voltage is 5V in the USB version and 2S-6S in the battery version.
- USB peak current of 1.5A at 25mW VTX. For 350mW 2A are required.
